Otherworldly London outfit Vanishing Twin have been a long established favourite of TMR. Surfacing this week with big news, the band have announced their forthcoming new album Ookii Gekkou with its whimsical lead track 'Big Moonlight'. Glittering with glockenspiels, fluttering analogue electronics add a comforting Broadcast-y quality as serene flute work soars surreally over the krautrock-informed rhythm section. Arriving alongside a truly magical claymation video by Daisy Dickinson, the band said: “We asked Daisy to take the being from the cover of our album and make it move, grow, stretch, multiply and merge with other objects. Hypnotised by the moon, the being plays in a strange landscape populated by other mysterious objects and characters.” If you ask us, she's done an incredible job.
